The Beautiful Revolution began in January 2021 when
London-born Craig Lappin and Enfield-born Sam Burnett reunited to co-write as many uplifting pop anthems as possible as an antidote to the holding plan we all found ourselves in. The pair met in the late 1970s when Lappin joined Burnett with cult mod heroes Back to Zero. Lappin had previously sung with Baby Patrol and later Scat Apache. Burnett went on to form the post-punk Kindergarten before joining Rubella Ballet and, latterly, Department S and Strangers Know More. Both have also had solo stints between tenures.
This is the first single release from their debut album
'New Religion Starter Kit', released in September 2021.
